Being in the hospital is hard. Being a kid in the hospital is even harder. And spending a holiday there? Kids deserve a little extra fun. We know, because we’ve been there.

So we’re bringing Halloween to them! Our Halloween4Heroes Treat Bags are STUFFED with hospital-approved goodies, crafts and toys to give kids at Riley something fun to look forward to. Help us fill 150 bags and bring a little spooky-season happiness to some pretty amazing mini heroes!
Our friend Piper beat Burkitt Lymphoma in 2018 when she was just 5 years old. Now, as she approaches 9 years cancer free, we continue to honor her journey by giving back to the kids and families spending their Halloween at Riley Children’s Hospital.
Why Halloween? While hospitals often receive generous donations around Christmas, Halloween tends to be overlooked. But for kids, dressing up, trick-or-treating and all the fun that comes with Halloween is a pretty big deal. Kids in the hospital deserve to be part of that fun, too.
That’s how our annual Halloween4Heroes treat bag drive began, and we’re so grateful you’re here to help us keep it going. Thank you for joining our cause and helping us bring Halloween to some pretty amazing kids.

About Piper
Piper is a regular 14 year old kid with an amazing story. Back in 2017, she had just started her first week at school in Kindergarten. As with most kids, Piper contracted a small back-to-school chest cold (or so her parent's thought). After weeks of medication and attempts for a diagnosis, it was determined that Piper had advanced Stage 3 Burkitt Lymphoma. With tumors in her head, chest, lungs, kidneys, and stomach...she was admitted to Riley Hospital for Children and started her 6 month treatment journey. In March of 2018, Piper rang the bell signifying the end of her treatment. She is a warrior and remains an inspiration to us all! For more of Piper's story, click the link below.
